NLG Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in 2005 A.D. (2062/06/23 B.S) after the non-life/general business of its predecessor was separated to comply with regulatory requirements.

It operates as a general (non-life) insurance company under the license of the Nepal Insurance Authority (formerly Beema Samiti).

Registered Office: Lazimpat, Kathmandu, Nepal.

The company is listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

It was spun off from National Life Insurance Company Limited (which undertook both life and general business originally) so that NLG could specialise in general insurance.
