Basic Profile & Establishment

• Nepal Micro Insurance Company Ltd. was incorporated under the Companies Act 2063 on Bhadra 8, 2079 B.S. (roughly late August 2022) and obtained its license under the Nepal Insurance Authority (Insurance Act 2079/80) as a micro non-life insurance company. 

• It is the first non-life micro insurance company in Nepal to receive an operating license. 

• Registered office is in Bharatpur, Chitwan. 

• It began business operations on May 14, 2023.
