Founding & Structure

• Founded on September 19, 2006 by Rajendra Rijal, KIEC (Kathmandu Infosys Educational Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.) has grown significantly over the years. 

• It is a private company headquartered at 1259 Dillibazar Road (also referred to as KIEC Avenue, Lalupatey Marg), Putalisadak, Kathmandu.

• KIEC operates a robust network with 16 branches across Nepal and two international outposts in Australia (Sydney & Melbourne). 

Recognition & Certifications

• The company is licensed by the Ministry of Education (Nepal) and is an honorary member of the Educational Consultancies Association of Nepal (ECAN). 

• Counselors are internationally certified via respected bodies:

  • QEAC from PIER Online,

  • ITAC from ICEF,

  • USATC from ICEF (for US-related counseling),

  • ENZ Training (Education New Zealand).

  • Many certified staff: e.g., five QEAC, five IATC, two USATC, and over ten ENZ-trained counselors
