Content Writer
Kathmandu, NepalCreative Content Writer at Infinity Digital Agency is responsible for taking a client’s or the line manager’s brief for the client’s various marketing, branding and business development needs and generating original, compelling, grammatically correct and internet buzz worthy copy for various mediums that grab the attention of the target audience. Content Writer at Infinity Digital Agency is a creative executive role that falls under the Creative Department at IDA who is responsible for bringing projects to life. This position directly reports to the Project Manager / Client Service Executive. Key Roles and Responsibilities of Content Writer/Project Officer: Meeting with Project Manager/Client Service Executive/Account Executives to discuss the client’s requirements and core messages Researching, speaking and analyzing with internal and external parties to learn about their content needs. Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visuals and words with other members of the creative team Familiarizing themselves with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market for the purpose of original and compelling copy and project ideas Presenting ideas and copy to the line manager, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts Writing various copy options for various mediums (e.g. ads, social media posts, brochures, brand stories, blog posts, etc.) Modifying Content until the client is satisfied and the goals set by the line manager is met Creating and editing original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets client/company needs and deadlines. Conducting necessary research to formulate ideas or support writing and assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content. Using SEO and Marketing principles to maximize copy’s reach Overseeing the production phase of content with designers, illustrators, marketing managers, photographers and necessary personnel Skills and Experience Required Proven experience as a copywriter or related role Excellent knowledge of grammatically correct written Nepali Good knowledge of grammatically written English Experience in online content strategy and creation Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills Be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively Be able to see other people’s points of view and take on board feedback (Receptiveness to feedback) Work well in a team and with a range of creative people Have a collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal and communication skills Be highly self-motivated and well organized Be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about clients’ products or services Awareness of social, cultural, market and internet trends Willingness to meet deadlines. Strong research skills Excellent time-management and organizational skills Knowledge of and Experience with SEO, Digital Marketing, or Social Media Marketing Field is prioritized.
