Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one consultations with students to assess their study abroad goals and preferences
• Guide students through the application process for international programs and assist with necessary paperwork and documentation
• Provide comprehensive and accurate information on international education systems, including visas, financial aid, and cultural expectations
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address any challenges or obstacles that students may encounter during their application process
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and developments in the study abroad industry
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement effective counseling and advising strategies
• Communicate regularly with students and their families to keep them informed and involved in the study abroad process
• Organize and participate in informational sessions and presentations to promote study abroad opportunities to students and other stakeholders
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in building relationships with students and other stakeholders, both in person and through various communication methods
• Possess a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in application materials and student records.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in student counseling or the study abroad sector.
• Strong knowledge of international education systems, universities, and visa policies.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze student profiles and provide tailored guidance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple student cases and maintain confidentiality.
• Fluency in English and Nepali.
