Job Description
- Prepare schedule, coordinate, manage and monitor the execution of the construction works of assigned projects.
- Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval.
- Supporting timely and quality of delivery for project engineering work in support of relevant technical and regulatory standards.
- Coordination and supervision of the subcontractor’s works to be completed on tie within quality standards.
- Establishing effective stakeholder relationships, both internally, and externally including clients, architects and builders.
- Making calculations about loads and stresses.
- Supporting and guiding junior engineers with technical matters.
- Attend site meetings and provide assistance related to engineering works.
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
- Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.
- Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
- Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials.
- Selecting appropriate construction materials.
- Handle all site reports and documentation regularly.
- Maintain project files.
- Inspecting properties to check conditions/foundations
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
