Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Formulating Annual Business Plan (1+2 years) and Long-Range Plan (5 years) with identification of key business drivers in coordination with multi-functional teams
  • Evaluate market forecast and long-term trends and collect competitive intelligence, constantly remain alert about opportunities and risks in the industry.
  • Preparation of the monthly and quarterly performance updates or any other updates as and when required.
  • Formulation of strategic projects (initiatives) for the closing of any gaps as against the BP targets or for business development
  • Development and implementation of key strategic frameworks related to different telecom strategies like 5G Strategy, Business development etc.
  • Engage in business performance presentations and organize strategy retreat sessions to finalize the company’s strategic direction with the management team.
  • Support to evaluate M&A, partnership opportunities and plan or oversee post-merger integration
  • Drafting correspondence for governing bodies to obtain approvals or to inform on industry practice or internal developments and drafting paper for external stakeholder management

Education Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in Strategic Planning OR Master’s degree / Professional Degree with 2 years of experience in Strategic Planning in relevant industry.
  • Experience with telecommunications/software platform/media/high tech operating models, business propositions, organization structures and required enabling capabilities.

  • Very strong presentation development and communication skills
  • Good EQ, outstanding interpersonal communications (written and oral) and client/stakeholder management skills 
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Proven ability to integrate into and foster a team-oriented environment 
  • Ability to think out of the box to develop innovative solutions 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Good academic skills and must be proficient in developing business case, scenario etc. 
  • Reviews situations or problems related to the work and presents all perspectives clearly for analysis
  • Reviews and recommends new solutions or techniques to improve work output
  • Tries to review linkages beyond own work area
  • Seeks to learn more about other parts of the unit, or function
  • Proactively seeks out customers' input to obtain feedback on performance
  • Effectively communicates with others to obtain needed information or support
  • Adapts rules or recommends alteration in normal procedures to get a job done well
  • Understands personal strengths & weaknesses, and works on constructive feedback to improve one's work performance

Duty Station: Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs.
