Service Engineer for Two-Wheelers (TVS) is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting routine servicing, and providing technical support to customers and service teams. The engineer must ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines while maintaining strong relationships with customers and dealership service teams.

Job esponsibilities:

1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform diagnostic assessments, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs, according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.

2. Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and identify complex technical issues in vehicles, utilizing diagnostic tools, software, and manuals to pinpoint and resolve problems efficiently.

3. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that vehicles leaving the distribution center meet quality standards, safety regulations, and performance specifications set by the manufacturer.

4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections, creating comprehensive service reports for each vehicle to track its history and identify recurring issues.

5. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their concerns, provide explanations about vehicle issues, and offer guidance on maintenance best practices.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and quality control, to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall vehicle distribution operations.

7. Training and Development: Stay updated on the latest advancements in automotive technology, attending training sessions and workshops to continuously enhance your technical knowledge and skills.

Job Specifications

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
2-5 years of experience in two-wheeler servicing, preferably in automobile sector. 

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of two-wheeler engines, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented workshop environment.

Other Requirements:

Physically fit to perform workshop-related tasks.
Willingness to travel for technical support if required.
