Responsibilities:

• Offer counselling services to students with social, emotional and behavioural issues
• Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address student's needs
• Assess student's mental health and provide appropriate interventions and referrals when necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and other school staff to develop effective strategies to support struggling students
• Promote mental wellness and mental health awareness within the school community
• Lead psycho-educational workshops and training sessions for students and staff
• Provide consultation and support to teachers in managing classroom dynamics and addressing behavioural concerns
• Monitor and supervise students' progress and create regular reports to track their growth
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills by taking initiative in developing and implementing school-wide counselling programs
• Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills when working with students, parents and school staff
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all counselling sessions.

Other Specification

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related counselling field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in counselling or other related roles
• Strong understanding of counselling techniques and best practices
• Experience in working with adolescents and young adults in a school setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students and staff
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to lead and work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Proven track record of effective monitoring and supervision of students
• Understanding of SEO keywords and ability to create SEO friendly content.
