Job Description
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, milestones, and deliverables, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to schedules.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure approvals, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination, while resolving any disputes or concerns.
- Track project progress using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), prepare regular updates for management and stakeholders, and adjust timelines and budgets based on actual progress.
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address on-site issues proactively to avoid delays, disruptions, or cost overruns.
- Ensure construction activities comply with design specifications, engineering standards, and local regulations by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety and environmental standards, conduct safety training, and address any incidents to maintain a safe working environment.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently, ensuring availability and optimal utilization to reduce costs and prevent delays.
- Oversee contracts with contractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensure compliance with terms, resolve disputes, and monitor project financial performance, addressing any cost overruns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of approvals, permits, and progress for project closure and handover, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in real estate or construction.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Primavera).
- Knowledge of local building codes, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
