Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Prepare and analyze samples, record and interpret data, and report results to medical staff
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of all testing procedures.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and reagents, and order new supplies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Train and supervise new laboratory staff.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in laboratory technology and techniques.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
