Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Lab Assistant to join our team at Gyanodaya Bal Batika School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the effective functioning of our school's laboratory facilities. This role requires a mid-level candidate with a strong background and experience in the education industry, particularly in schools and colleges.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials for various experiments and practical classes.
• Prepare necessary chemicals and materials for experiments and practical sessions.
• Assist students and teachers in conducting experiments and practical work, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain the laboratory and ensure proper storage, cleanliness and organization of equipment and materials.
• Manage stock inventory and liaise with suppliers to order and restock materials as needed.
• Monitor and maintain safety standards and protocols within the laboratory.
• Assist in record keeping, data entry and preparation of reports related to laboratory work.
• Support teachers in the preparation of laboratory activities and experiments.
• Attend training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to laboratory work.
