Full Job Description
- Respond to user requests and provide technical support in person, over the phone, or through electronic communication.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating more complex problems when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and peripheral devices.
- Assist in managing network infrastructure, including servers, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance, addressing issues related to network connectivity or slow response times.
- Support the creation and maintenance of network user accounts and permissions.
- Collaborate on IT project implementation under the direction of senior IT staff.
- Help research and evaluate new technologies and solutions.
- Participate in testing and deploying software and hardware updates.
- Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Provide basic training for users on new systems or software as needed.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of hardware and software inventory.
- Assist in upholding IT security protocols and implementing best practices.
- Support data backup and disaster recovery efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
