Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors at the dental care information desk
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with dental care providers
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and information
- Educate patients on dental care procedures, services, and payment options
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Handle patient complaints and concerns with empathy and provide appropriate solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in dental care to provide accurate information to patients
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the dental care supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental care setting
- Strong knowledge of dental care procedures, terminology, and insurance plans
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
