Job Description

The Head Chef will oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring high-quality and nutritious food is served. They will manage kitchen staff, maintain food safety standards, and develop diverse and balanced menus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop menus, ensuring nutritional balance and variety.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, delegating tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain quality control of ingredients and food presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate food procurement.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance culinary skills.
  • Manage kitchen cleanliness and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Head Chef in a 5 Star Hotel or similar role.
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines.
