Job Description

We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our team as a Dormitory Incharge. As a Dormitory Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our school's dormitory facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has experience in managing facilities and students.

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine inspection of residential and common areas in the dormitory compound
• Assists tenants to register proximity card for access to the secured area
• Monitors the validity of work pass status for all residents and prepares monthly report on for the checking in and out of the dormitory unit for submission to accounts department for billing purposes
• Participates in fire drills and emergency response plans with directions from the dormitory manager and executives
• Checks dormitory essential systems are in operational condition (Utilities, CCTV, Public Address system and fire alarm system etc)
• Ensures order and regulates peak hour crowd at different access control points
• Reports activities and violations of residents
• Conducts briefing of house rules and regulations for newly registered residents
• Supports the execution of recreational activities and celebrations in the yard dormitories
• Manages the meal collection system and handles any disputes arising between the caterer and residents
• Provides assistance and supervision to contractors and vendors performing facility maintenance
• Guides the dormitory M&E technician and security guards to ensure that they carry out their roles and responsibilities according to the policies and procedures
