Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting tasks for multiple hotels, resorts and restaurants within the organization
- Prepare financial statements and reports accurately and within established timelines
- Monitor and reconcile all accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue growth
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes and policies are followed
- Assist in budget preparation and actively monitor budget variances
- Keep abreast of accounting laws and regulations and ensure compliance
- Manage general ledger and journal entries
- Provide support in internal and external audits
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
Other Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of accounting software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is an added advantage
