- Minimum completion of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting, preferably with NGOs/INGOs or development projects.
- Good knowledge of Nepal government compliance requirements.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, FAMAS, Moneyworks or others) is highly preferred.
- Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day financial transactions and proper bookkeeping according to ACNS and donor standards.
- Prepare vouchers, maintain supporting documents, and enter transactions into accounting software.
- Ensure timely payments and manage petty cash disbursements.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support in developing financial statements, budget tracking, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal control systems and donor financial guidelines.
- Assist with the preparation for internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate records of project assets, procurements, and financial documents.
- Coordinate with the Project Coordinator to ensure alignment between financial and programmatic activities.
- Perform any other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the management.
